TVShows 0.4.4 Release

Posted December 7th, 2009. Filed under TVShows News

Over two months ago today I introduced the last version of TVShow. So it is with great pleasure that today I’m releasing a long overdue update, TVShows v0.4.4. Unfortunately because of finals I’ve had to push back a few new features and bug fixes I’ve planned, but hopefully winter break will give me a chance to catch back up.

As always, please submit bugs either in the comments or at the Issue Tracker on GitHub. You can also donate at the TVShows homepage.

Edit: An update was released for TVShows 0.4.4 that fixes the issue of losing subscriptions upon updating.

Changes:

  • Removed over 1162 junk shows from the list. More info at http://bit.ly/1kqXWJ
  • Blocked the misnamed “CSI New York 07×03″ and “Doctor Who 20×5″
  • Attempted to clear up confusion surrounding show qualities.
  • Rearranged the Preferences window.
  • Fixed a possible bug with Ruby 1.9 (thanks to Justin Case).
  • TVShows now supports sending anonymous system information. This will be used to decide which OSX versions to support.

It seems that I have not been able to get tvshows to download any torrents lately. Even with the newest update.

  2. Kelsey says:

I think it’s because EzTV is down again.

  3. chris says:

Yeah, all my shows stopped coming in about 2 weeks ago? Must be the EzTV feed?

    • chris says:

Looks like the EzTV feed is back up according to their Twitter… “We are back online, please allow for a couple of days for us to do all the backlog. thank you.”

      Yay!
